Luster Leaf Rapidest Compost Dial Thermometer
Actively composting materials produce heat, and you don't know when to "turn" your pile unless you can check that it's ready with a compost thermometer. Organic materials in your compost pile break down most quickly between 110 to 160 degrees, with the higher range producing finished compost within a few days. As the heart of your compost pile cools, you'll want to renew with more materials, or turn it to allow the materials on the outside of the pile a chance to break down. The Luster leaf Rapitest compost thermometer features a quality stainless steel body and 19" stainless steel probe.

Our brick and mortar store Quail Mountain Ranch, Inc. has been in business in Auburn, CA since 2005, and is one of the largest independent retail grow shops in Northern California. In the heart of California's top growing region, the store locally services three counties and provides online shopping for growers all over the United States. Placer, Nevada and El Dorado counties all straddle the Sierra Foothills east of Sacramento. Known for orchards, riceland, and large organic farms, the region is also a favorite of licensed cannabis growers. Here at Quail Mountain Ranch, we grow, so we know!
